The softlanding Team

Our team is truly multi-cultural. However, all of the teachers teach their mother tongue. Most of our teachers have travelled and moved a lot around the world or at least Europe, hence, understand perfectly well the requirements and issues of Expats, having been one themselves in the past.

Meet our teachers here - experienced in what they are doing, fun to work with and unique in their personalities.

Urs Rothmayr 

... lived in Italy, France, England and Saudi-Arabia. He is now living nearby. Urs will help you to find all the hidden linguistic treasures. His personalized teaching will bring you forward.

Trudi Werder 

Trudi is from Switzerland (Cham), married with two grown up daughters and trained as a primary school teacher. She completed a course for teaching adults and has been with softlanding for a while. Not to forget that she's an aerobic instructor as well.

Silke Bavais 

Silke teaches German and comes from Germany. However, she hasn't lived there for many years, but could enjoy living in various other countries with her French husband and her three children.

Linda Weikert 

Linda has been living and teaching in Switzerland for quite a while. She's German and has got 2 children.

Karin Veit Brändli 

Karin originates from Germany but has been living in Switzerland for the past 18 years with her Swiss husband and ten-year old twin boys. She has come back from a one-year family world trip in 2010 and continues to take many trips and hikes also around beautiful Switzerland. Karin is new at Softlanding and is looking forward to help you learn German.

Jörg Saabel 

Jörg is another German in our team - young and enthusiastic.

Heidi Helfenberger 

Heidi has been teaching for softlanding for quite some time and is looking forward to new beginners' courses!

Harald Kasper 

..has been living in Switzerland since 2005 and is German.

Evelyn Schmidt 

Evelyne comes from Switzerland and loves travelling. She is therefore experienced in the exploration of various cultures and languages.

Caren Aschke 

Caren orginates from Berlin, and studies Politics in Lucerne, next to teaching German at softlanding

Bruno Walder 

Bruno is originally from Zürich. As a teacher, he had been working both with adults and children. He arrived to Zug after spending many years abroad in Europe and beyond.

Birgit Schäffner 

Birgit teaches German, and she's also a German national. She lives in the depth of the Kanton Schwyz with her husband, three children and in future also with a sweet dog!

Alois Kathriner 

Alois has been teaching more than 3000 hours of German and Schwiizertüütsch. Impressive! He will make you talk, talk, talk and see you the structure of the language!

Adi Styger 

Adi Styger lives with his Romanian wife and his two boys in Unterägeri/ZG. For softlanding, he teaches German and develops programs for computer and smartphone.

Monica Sibarium 

Monica is married with two young children and has been living in Switzerland for some time now.

Irina Heisler 

Irina teaches English with passion on all kind of levels.

Harry Fuchs 

Harry started softlanding and is the Director of studies. Not only is he a most talented German teacher with more than 20 years of experience, but he's also developed plenty of materials for our students to make learning easier. Amongst those he just recently developed a unique German book - come and find out!

Dora Goupil 

Dora comes from Hungary, speaks an incredible five languages and IS the administration. Whatever you want to know about courses, processes at soflanding or anything else - she knows it! Besides organising teachers and courses she's married to a French man and has three adorable children.

Claudia Hesse 

Claudia runs the marketing of softlanding. So in case you don't like the website - she's the one to complain to! She's German, hosts many pets at home, including horses and children and loves England. Not because of the weather though.

 

SOS classes

You've missed a lesson of your course? No worries - take part in the weekly catch up lessons and you'll be up to date again. Every Thursday from 11.45 - 13.15 h and free of charge!
