In addition to our on-going courses which you can join any time, we have several group courses starting every month. We also offer courses tailored to children which take place in a fun atmosphere with teachers experienced in teaching German to children.

Individual rates per student (in CHF – 45min lessons)

  • Group, 4-6 students – 30.00
  • Group, 3 students – 41.25
  • Group, 2 students – 52.50
  • One-to-one – 86.25 (*)

For one-to-one tuition we offer packages of 20 or 40 lessons with the following discounts:
20 lessons: 10%
40 lessons: 15%

Keen on learning German with friends? Come along with your group of friends and enjoy the special rate of CHF 25 per hour!
Special rate available for any group of at least 5 persons at the same level. Payment required in advance for the running trimester (approx. 20-24 lessons).

This program takes a modular approach to learning with the goal of boosting children‘s motivation to communicate in German, and to progress through the levels A1, A2 and B1. We adopt a playful and interactive approach, using fun language activities to drill grammar and vocabulary in a conversational context. Children learn to apply what they have learned with the goal of advancing to the next language level, until they achieve almost native speaker proficiency.

German for children in Swiss schools

Course Date: 10th January to 21st March

Aimed at children in grades 3 and 4 at Swiss schools who do not speak German at home, this program focuses on overcoming the common difficulties that non-native speakers may experience with the language at local schools. Classes take place in a friendly and supportive small-group environment. Although the focus is on children attending local skills, those who attend international school and have an equivalent level of German are also welcome. 

Fit for Gymi: Vorbereitung auf die Kantonsschule

These regular classes are aimed at children in 5th and 6th grade, as well as those in the first year of Gymnasium or Sekundarschule, in order to support their German language skills in the step up to secondary school level. The children will be tutored systematically to overcome the typical problem areas in German, such as “Rechtschreiben” and grammar, and will be given techniques to aid their ability in listening and text comprehensions. Attention will be given to building a more sophisticated vocabulary and to increasing the ability to use more complex and sophisticated stylistic structures in written and spoken German.

Learn German with Lego for beginners

Course Date: 10th January until 21st March

Aimed at children aged 5-6 years old who have just started or will soon start local schools, this program uses the endless creativity of Lego to help children discover the German language for themselves. This fun and playful approach to learning is supported by entertaining word drills and other classroom activities that will catch the children’s attention and make their acquisition of German an enjoyable experience.
